JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) is a prominent higher education institution based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, with its roots going back to 1990. The institution was granted the status of a Deemed-to-be University by the Ministry of Human Resource Development on the recommendation of the University Grants Commission in 2008 and 2009, with university academic programmes commencing in 2009.
