M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (MSRUAS) is a private university in Bengaluru, Karnataka, established in December 2013 under the Karnataka University Act with the approval of the Government of Karnataka. The university was created by bringing together several established educational institutions of the Ramaiah Group and has developed into a multidisciplinary institution focused on applied learning, innovation, research, industry engagement and professional education. MSRUAS offers undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, diploma, certificate and vocational programmes across a wide range of disciplines. Its academic ecosystem includes Engineering and Technology, Medical Sciences, Dental Sciences, Pharmacy, Life and Allied Health Sciences, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Natural Sciences, Art and Design, Hospitality Management, Management and Commerce, Law and Social Sciences. The university currently offers more than 140 programmes through 14 faculties and schools. The university emphasizes experiential and industry-oriented education, multidisciplinary learning, research and entrepreneurship. It also operates specialized academic and research centres and provides students with opportunities for professional development, internships, industry interaction and placement support. Its campuses include the Gnanagangothri Campus on New BEL Road and the Technology Campus at Peenya in Bengaluru. MSRUAS has received recognition and approvals from relevant statutory and professional bodies and has participated in national ranking frameworks. In NIRF 2025, the university was placed in the 101–150 rank band in the University category. Its constituent institutions also achieved notable rankings in Medical, Dental and Pharmacy categories. The university continues to build on the legacy of the Ramaiah Group while focusing on contemporary, application-oriented higher education.
