REVA University is a State Private University located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, established under the Government of Karnataka Act No. 13 of 2012. The university is part of the REVA Group of Institutions and has developed into a multidisciplinary higher-education institution with a strong focus on technology-enabled education, research, innovation, industry interaction and holistic student development. REVA University offers undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, diploma, minor and honours programmes across diverse academic areas. Its academic portfolio covers Engineering, Architecture, Science and Technology, Commerce, Management Studies, Law, Liberal Studies and Performing Arts. The university combines classroom education with practical learning, industry exposure, research projects, skill development, entrepreneurship and professional activities. The university has built a modern academic ecosystem supported by laboratories, research centres, technology infrastructure, libraries, student housing, sports facilities, clubs and other campus amenities. Its research infrastructure includes advanced facilities such as X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, UV-Vis-NIR spectroscopy, photoluminescence and Raman instrumentation, supporting research in engineering, science, materials and multidisciplinary areas. REVA also promotes industry-oriented education and innovation through specialized centres and initiatives. Its academic programmes are designed to develop technical knowledge, professional competence, communication skills, creativity and problem-solving abilities. Students are encouraged to participate in internships, research, competitions, student organizations, cultural activities and entrepreneurship programmes. The university operates from a 45-acre campus in Yelahanka, Bengaluru, and has grown into a large academic community with more than 16,000 students. It has expanded its academic offerings while maintaining an emphasis on future-oriented curricula and emerging technologies. REVA University is accredited with an A+ grade by NAAC and participates in the National Institutional Ranking Framework. In NIRF 2025, it was placed in the 151–200 rank band in the University category and the 201–300 rank band in Engineering. These are rank bands rather than individual numerical ranks, so the general NIRF rank should remain NULL in a numeric CMS field.
