Sri Jagadguru Murugharajendra University (SJMU) is a private, multidisciplinary university located in Chitradurga, Karnataka. Established under the Sri Jagadguru Murugharajendra University Act, 2020, the university was created by the Sri Jagadguru Murugharajendra Vidyapeetha with the objective of advancing higher education across general, technical, health, management, law and life-science disciplines. The university's headquarters are located at the SJM Campus on NH4 Bypass, Chitradurga. SJMU brings together a broad academic ecosystem covering Engineering, Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy and Allied Health Sciences. Its current academic programmes include B.E. programmes in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Science, Mechanical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Data Science and Cyber Security. The university also offers postgraduate programmes such as M.Tech, MD, MS, MDS and M.Pharm, along with doctoral programmes in selected disciplines.
