Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence (SSSUHE) is a State Private University established in Karnataka in 2019 under Karnataka State Act 17 of 2018. Located in Kalaburagi, the university follows a distinctive residential Gurukula-inspired model that combines contemporary higher education with value-based learning, character development, cultural education and community service. The institution aims to make quality higher education accessible without the conventional financial barriers associated with university education. SSSUHE provides a fully residential learning environment in which students receive education along with accommodation, food and other essential facilities without charge. Its academic offerings span disciplines in arts, sciences, performing arts, physical education and sports, along with programmes in nursing, allied health sciences and other emerging areas.
