St Aloysius (Deemed to be University) is a higher education institution located in Mangaluru, Karnataka, with a distinguished academic history rooted in the long-standing St Aloysius educational tradition. The institution received the status of an Institution Deemed to be University from the Ministry of Education, Government of India, in January 2024 under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes through a growing network of schools and academic departments.
